Here's the details of the programme:
The eight live interactive modules are:
Session 1: Introduction & Impact on You of the Good Girl Syndrome.
Session 2: Creating Safety within Yourself and Your Nervous System
Session 3: Creating Safety within Yourself through Imagination
Session 4: Creating Safety within Yourself through Embodiment
Session 5: Looking at Your Roots of Good Girl Syndrome
Session 6: Working With Your Emotions
Session 7: Working with Your ‘Negative’ Emotions and Reframing Conflict
Session 8: Self Compassion & Course Review
Each week you’ll:
You do NOT need to be an artist.
You only need a few simple arts materials...
old magazines (whatever you’re okay to use for collage), a gluestick, scissors, eight or so pieces of large paper (approx A3 size) or an A3 sketch pad, a pack of coloured crayons, pastels or coloured pencils. Paper (A4 computer paper is fine) and a pen to write with/take notes.
* Activities are basic arts and somatic processes that are designed to explore within - including collage, visualisation, body scans, expressive line and colour work, writing, basic word format creation (poetry), embodiment (feeling into the body), nervous system based exercises & more.
The programme is designed to walk you through the steps to break free from the Good Girl Syndrome using a combination of education and exercises that are based on the 'Reconnect ME' framework of arts and somatic therapy.

- 8 sessions of LIVE online group trainings (see module titles below)
- One session per week (except for public holidays)
- Each session is at least 90 minutes long (up to 2 hours)
- Small group (capped at 12)
- Optional Facebook group for participants to share in

- learn a new nervous system regulation exercise
- be taught concepts about the good girl syndrome, your nervous system, thoughts/beliefs, childhood adaptation/attachment, emotions, conflict, self compassion and more
- do an insightful arts and/or somatic activity around a theme*
- go into break out groups for discussion and/or be in full group discussions so we can grow and support each other
- be given optional homeplay so that you can do more between sessions if you wish
- receive pdfs of the learning session slides and at least one guided recording
